The Admin/Supply Assistant is responsible for ensuring all purchasing activities are in compliance with company policy. This includes having complete and accurate supporting documentation for the orders that includes proper approval. The assistant will meet with vendors to acquire services for Valle del Sol, develop and maintain vendor relationships and be instrumental in assisting the Director of Finance in solving problems that arise in relation to purchasing activities. The assistant will be responsible for maintaining the purchasing filing system. This position will evaluate current costs for goods and services where appropriate and research more cost-effective options with the idea of finding the best cost for the highest quality goods/services. In addition, this position will do their best to use just in time ordering but for supplies that are requested frequently the assistant will maintain the supply inventory and ensure it is kept locked up. The assistant is also responsible for opening all of the mail and distributing in accordance with the mail distribution instructions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Accounts Computer literate with moderate to advance skills in software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must use 10-key by touch.
  • Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must have or able to obtain valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
