YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES

Young people and their families are often faced with a variety of stressful conditions, such as dealing with divorce, depression, relationships with peers and family, anger management, substance abuse, grief and adjusting to their school environment. Any of these can cause difficulties in daily living for a child or family.

Valle del Sol offers a wide array of services, which are provided directly to youth and families in their homes, schools and communities. The goal of treatment is to assist children in remaining in the home, to achieve success in school, maintain and restore healthier family relationships, avoid delinquency, and to help the child and family function effectively in their environment. In addition, many types of in-home support services are provided to families who are referred by Child Protective Services.

  • Office/Home Based Individual & Family Counseling
  • School Based Individual, Group & Family Counseling
  • Outpatient Psychiatric Services
  • Care Coordination Services
  • Behavior Coaching
  • Family Support and Stabilization Services
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Substance Abusing Adolescents
  • DES Intensive Family Preservation
  • DES Family Reunification
  • Parenting Skills Training/Classes
  • Community Resource Referrals
  • Brief Family Intervention Treatment (BIT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (BDT)
  • Girls Resiliency Group
  • Anger and Stress Management Groups
  • Youth Leadership Training
