Youth and Family Services
Young people and their families are often faced with a variety of stressful conditions, such as dealing with divorce, depression, relationships with peers and family, anger management, substance abuse, grief and adjusting to their school environment. Any of these can cause difficulties in daily living for a child or family.
Valle del Sol offers a wide array of services, which are provided directly to youth and families in their homes, schools and communities. The goal of treatment is to assist children in remaining in the home, to achieve success in school, maintain and restore healthier family relationships, avoid delinquency, and to help the child and family function effectively in their environment. In addition, many types of in-home support services are provided to families who are referred by Child Protective Services.
