About

Cancer Treatment Centers of America
Founded in 1988 on a personalized, patient-centered approach to cancer care, Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) is dedicated to tailoring a combination of cancer treatments to the needs of each individual patient. CTCA operates five hospitals and three outpatient care centers across the United States. Focusing on individualized, integrative care means that each CTCA patient has a dedicated team of cancer experts assigned to his or her care, with some responsible for treating the cancer and others working to help the patient manage related side effects. CTCA has made culturally competence a cornerstone of their care model. From ensuring that all members of a patient’s family are welcome to providing the same interpreter throughout the course of a patient’s treatment, CTCA knows that providing individualized care means being authentically respectful to the individual’s culture.
