Phoenix, AZ –Thanks to a $15,000 award from Thunderbirds Charities, the community surrounding Valle del Sol’s midtown clinic is about to receive a priceless new resource: culturally competent integrated health care for all members of the family.

Prior to this award, Valle del Sol’s Primary Care clinic at 3807 N. 7th Street (85014) only offered primary care services to children. This gift will equip the clinic’s newly renovated exam rooms with the necessary medical equipment in order to begin offering primary care services at that location to adults in addition to the children they already serve.

“The need for accessible health care is significant,” according to Valle del Sol Chief Development Officer Angela Florez. “With this award from Thunderbirds Charities, we’re able to introduce primary care services to a population that we were previously not equipped to serve at this location.”

Valle del Sol anticipates being able to begin scheduling adult primary care patients at the midtown clinic by the end of June 2017. The clinic remains open to its existing pediatric and behavioral health patients in the meantime. To schedule an appointment, call 602-523-9312 or visit valledelsol.com.
