Sumit joined Valle del Sol in September 2023, after serving as a director of finance at El Rio Community Health Center. Sumit is a seasoned finance professional bringing over a decade of experience in healthcare finance and management. With a strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis in his early career in investment banking, he has successfully transitioned into leadership roles within the healthcare sector. His expertise encompasses strategic financial planning, revenue cycle management, and process improvement, making him a vital asset in the fast-paced medical environment. Sumit is known for his analytical skills and ability to drive financial performance while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Sumit holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. Sumit's career trajectory reflects a commitment to enhancing healthcare operations through effective financial stewardship and innovation.

As Chief Information Officer at Valle del Sol, Kevin leads the organization’s technology strategy with a deep commitment to improving the lives of patients and communities we serve. Focusing on innovation, integration, and accessibility, he drives digital transformation initiatives to enhance patient care, streamline clinical operations, and empower providers with the tools they need to deliver compassionate, data-driven services.

As a core belief that technology should be a bridge-not a barrier-to care, Kevin is dedicated to creating systems that make healthcare more connected, equitable, and human-centered. From implementing secure and user-friendly digital healthcare platforms to leveraging analytics that improve outcomes, he ensures Valle del Sol remains at the forefront of community-based health and behavioral services.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management from DeVry University and a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University.

I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resource Education from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Rasmussen University. I’m SHRM-CP certified and an active member of both the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Leadership Forum.

Michaela Statt, LMSW, is a mission-driven healthcare executive with more than 15 years of leadership experience in nonprofit and integrated care settings. She is passionate about improving access, outcomes, and equity for underserved populations through operational excellence and strategic innovation. Known for her collaborative and transparent leadership style, Michaela builds high-performing teams and drives sustainable organizational growth that strengthens both employee engagement and community impact. When she is not working, Michaela spends time with husband and three young daughters. She enjoys reading, board games, and staying active through tennis and Crossfit.
